Yi Lin, PhD
Research Assistant Professor
Yi studies how babies and young children think and learn. She is interested in how babies make sense of simple physical events, like knowing how many and what objects are hidden in a box, how children learn words and syntax, and how language and thought affect one another. To explore these questions, she examines how long babies look, what choices children make, and the words and sentences they use. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and walks by the lake.
